BIOGRAPHY
Will Diggle is a tenor based in the London where he completed his Master's degree on a scholarship at the Royal College of Music (2017-2019), following undergraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music (2013-2017). Since completing his studies, he has built a varied career in opera, song, and concert work across the UK and internationally.
On the opera stage Will has performed the role, Neville (The Waves, Louis Mander) at the Oslo Opera Festival in Norway. He has also taken on the title role of Buster in Edward Lambert's Buster's Trip at the Têté a Têté Festival in London and also portrayed Vacuo in Lambert's Masque of Vengeance. Will has performed in some of Bernstein’s works such as The Voice (Trouble in Tahiti) Tony (West Side Story). Will has covered several significant roles, including Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni, Mozart) with Hurn Court Opera, Macduff (Macbeth, Verdi) with Mid Wales Opera. He has also worked with The Granges Festivals multiple seasons covering Spoletta (Tosca, Puccini) and Aeneas (Dido & Aeneas, Purcell)
Will’s other international engagement includes performances Opera Australia, performing at the Sydney Opera House in productions of Don Giovanni and La Traviata, and with New Generation Festival in Florence, Italy, in in productions such as L'Elisir D'Amore and Don Giovanni.
Will is an experienced concert soloist performing recitals internationally, including in Moscow, Russia and Italy the UK. Will as being invited to performing an entirely Beethoven recital with the piano Beethoven once composed the songs on.
Looking ahead, Will is excited to take on the roles of Beppe in Donizetti's Rita and Alfred in Strauss's Die Fledermaus
